Sunday was the last of Griffin’s beginner obedience training. He has come a long way in the past month and a half. More importantly, the kids and whole family now have a common language for him.
We used the same training program as we used with Maverick about 12 years ago; Johns Natural Dog Training. Griffin is pretty good at sit, down, heel, stay and he he is learning come. He has also gotten to be very good with other dogs.
He did have a rough time of getting to training as he still gets car sick. It seems to be more of an anxiety reaction, but he does not love the car in any way.
