Fires: Day 3

NOAA satelite imageThe morning sky is a mix of blood red and black smoke. The winds at our house are still calm, but much of the county is seeing more wind. The fires continued to rage. The evacuation area does not seem to be much closer, but the fires are running unchecked.

Another Sat. view of the fire

Last night, we went up to Mt. Soledad around 9:45. There was quite a crowd. It was hard to see much because of the smoke, but we could see some of the fire. It looked to be at least 15 miles away, but we could still see it.
